This
course provides the fundamentals of Nitrox diving,
and introduces the diver to using Nitrox as an
optimum breathing gas, ideally suited for diving
within the 15 – 39 metre range, utilising
EANx mixtures ranging from between 21%-40%, with
emphasis on using ‘standard’ mixes
of 32% & 36%, aimed at maximising bottom time,
reducing or avoiding decompression penalty, and
decreasing Surface Interval. The course is over
2 days and includes 2 dives.
A
4 day course that introduces the diver to
using
custom Nitrox mixes up to 1.5 bar PO2 for
accelerated decompression, using Nitrox Tables
and computers.
Dive planning, gas management and Oxygen servicing
of equipment forms the content of the course,
together with an intensive practical element,
qualifying to 42 metres. The use of twinsets
can
also be introduced here. This course is the ‘springboard’
to the technical diving route, and includes 5
dives. It can be combined with the basic Nitrox
course.
The
Technical Diver course introduces the diver to
advanced kit configuration, the use of twinsets
and stages, computer-generated dives tables and
dive planning using custom EANx mixes up to 1.6
bar PO2, for conducting
staged decompression diving to 54m. The course
is conducted over 5 days and includes 5 dives.
This
course introduces the diver to the use of mixed
gas (Trimix), enabling them to build on their
depth experience to conduct planned dives to a
maximum of 60 metres, using gas mixtures with
a minimum 20% Oxygen. Advanced kit configuration,
the use computer-generated dives tables, gas management
and decompression systems form the basis of this
course. The course is conducted over 5 days and
includes a minimum of 5 dives.
Prerequisites:
Min. age 18. Advanced Nitrox or Technical Diver.
This
course qualifies the diver in the use of Trimix
gas mixtures with Hypoxic Oxygen levels of less
than 20%, enabling them to conduct planned dives
to a maximum depth of 100 metres. It builds on
the divers previous knowledge, allowing progressive
build-up of depth and technique. The course is
conducted over 5 days and includes a minimum of
4 dives.
Prerequisites:
Min age 18. Normoxic Trimix + 200 dives.
This
course introduces the diver to the CCR unit of
their choice, qualifying to a depth of 42 metres
using air diluent, or 48 metres if using Helium.
Unit preparation, configuration, basic maintenance,
and operation, together with dive planning and
drills and techniques form the basis of this
course. The course is conducted over 6 days and includes
a minimum of 6 dives / 500 minutes.

mixing process. Each course covers blending calculations
and software, blending equipment, gases, Oxygen
cleaning, hazards and risk assessment and is followed
by a practical session calculating and blending
various mixes.
A
comprehensive 1-day course aimed at the diver
who wishes to prepare and service equipment for
Oxygen-use in a dive centre or club, or for their

With
50+metres available just off the beach,
5 minutes from the dive centre in a sheltered
bay, practical skills and course dives can
be attained right up to Normoxic Trimix
level. A short boat trip gives access to
